TELEVISION: Friday 9pm (BBC2) Pilgrimage: The road to the Scottish Isles The group stay at Pluscarden Abbey, and finish their journey on Iona (3/3).

Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise Katherine Jenkins visits Paisley Abbey, in Scotland, and YolanDa Brown meets a couple whose faith helped them when their son took his own life.

Wednesday 10.40pm (BBC1) Dealing with Loss: A believer’s guide Dipti hosts a Hindu festival, Maha Shivratri, after her father dies from Covid-19 (5/5).

Thursday 8pm (BBC2) Rebuilding Notre-Dame: The next chapter Lucy Worsley meets craftspeople who are attempting to rebuild the cathedral, with a 2024 deadline.

 

RADIO: Sunday 10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul The significance of the 19th-century emancipation of European Jews.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from Merton College, Oxford, recorded on 2 November 2021.

Monday 4.30pm (R4) Beyond Belief The pull of religion for young people in 2022 (4/7).

Tuesday 7.15pm (R4) Front Row Tim Foley talks about his play Electric Rosary, on at the Manchester Royal Exchange, about a convent which has a council-funded robot called “Mary”.

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong From Lincoln Cathedral, recorded on 1 March.
