UPDATE: Unfortunately, owing to circumstances beyond our control, this match has had to be called off.
THE Church Times is hosting a North v. South cricket match on Thursday (8 September). This will be in place of the usual Cricket Cup final.
The match will be played at the usual venue for the cup final: the Walker Cricket Ground, in Southgate, north London. Play will start at 11 a.m., and each innings will consist of 40 overs. The teams will comprise players drawn from Groups 1 and 2 (broadly the “northern” teams) against players from Groups 3 and 4 (broadly the “southern” teams).
All are welcome to attend, free of charge. Please bring a packed lunch.
