3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from St Olave’s, York, with the Ex Corde vocal ensemble, on the feast of St Andrew the Apostle, recorded on 23 November.

Wednesday 9am (R4 FM), 10.05am (World Service) The Reith Lectures: Freedom of worship The former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Williams argues that freedom of worship must mean the freedom to express conviction (2/4).

4pm (R3) Choral Evensong Live from Salisbury Cathedral to mark the bicentenary of the birth of César Franck.
