10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul The Vietnam veteran Alvaro Enciso and volunteers plant wooden crosses where human remains have been found in the Sonoran Desert.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from St Olave’s, York, with the Ex Corde vocal ensemble, on the feast of St Andrew the Apostle, recorded on 23 November.

Wednesday 9am (R4 FM), 10.05am (World Service) The Reith Lectures: Freedom of worship The former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Williams argues that freedom of worship must mean the freedom to express conviction (2/4).

4pm (R3) Choral Evensong Live from Salisbury Cathedral to mark the bicentenary of the birth of César Franck.

Thursday 11pm (R3) Compline from St Paul’s, Withington, Manchester, sung by the HeartEdge Manchester choral scholars.
