Archbishop of Canterbury’s awards

THE Archbishop of Canterbury conferred, in a ceremony on Tuesday 8 March at Lambeth Palace, the following awards for service rendered in a range of different fields:


The Canterbury Cross for Services to the Church of England:
Charlie Arbuthnot, Sir Mark Hedley, Adam Matthews.

The Cross of St Augustine for Services to the Anglican Communion: the Rt Revd Dr Victor Atta-Bafoe, the Rt Revd Marinez Rosa dos Santos Bassotto, the Revd Stephen Dinsmore, Andrew Khoo, the Most Revd Mark MacDonald, Delene Mark, the Most Revd Julio Murray Thompson, Nagulan Nesiah, the Rt Revd Professor Stephen Pickard, the Rt Revd Dr Philip Poole, Dr Sally Smith, Paul Thaxter, the Revd Pauline Walker.

The Alphege Award for Evangelism and Witness: the Rt Revd Nathaniel Garang Anyieth, Karen Gibson, Lucy Moore, Patricia Neill.

The Dunstan Award for Prayer and Spirituality: the Revd Dr George Westhaver.

The Hubert Walter Award for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation: the Revd Bonnie Evans-Hills, Sanjay Jagatia, Kaneez Khan, the Revd Rana Youab Khan, Ruth Tetlow.

The Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship: Declan Gerard Kelly, Claudette Kigeme, Canon Vinay K. Samuel, Vesa V. Viitaniemi, the Revd Professor David Wilkinson.

The Langton Award for Community Service: Marion Dawson Carr, Robert Jackson, Claudette Kigeme, Suzanne Lawson, the Revd Barry Nichols.

The Thomas Cranmer Award for Worship: Dr Andrew Earis, Geraldine Latty.
