WE THANK our readers for their enduring patience during the latest round of Royal Mail strikes. You can be sure that we find the situation as frustrating as you do, especially when we hear of copies that seem to disappear completely.

There is little that we can do, but we do what we possibly can. Thus next week’s Christmas double issue is going to press two days early, in the hopes of avoiding disruption from the strikes planned for 23 and 24 December.

We’re pleased to see that many of our digital subscribers are logging on to the website or using the app to stay up to date with the paper.

And we’re very pleased to announce that, at long last, there is now an Android app that can be downloaded from Google Play store. Existing Church Times subscribers with digital access can use this as part of their subscription. Tap on “Subscription Options” and sign in using the email address and password you use for the Church Times website.

Anyone with a print-only subscription can enhance it with a digital subscription for just £10. Click here for details.
