TELEVISION: Friday 7.15pm (BBC2 and Radio 3) First Night of the Proms Clive Myrie introduces a performance of Verdi’s Requiem live from the Royal Albert Hall.

Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise Claire McCollum joins Christians on a tour boat on Loch Ness. And, in Inverness, two priests from Nigeria tell their story of evangelisation in Scottish rural communities by using TikTok.

Thursday 9pm (BBC2) Big Oil vs the World An exploration of what the fossil-fuel industry knew about climate change more than four decades ago (1/3).

 

RADIO Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship Kingdom Choir, Guvna B, and the preacher Andy Hawthorne, at Wythenshawe Park for Festival Manchester, earlier this month.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul How Norway’s Christian and Muslim leaders forged a historic pact on the right to convert.
