Acting dean

ON THE appointment of the Dean of Leicester, the Very Revd David Monteith, as Dean of Canterbury, the Revd Karen Rooms, Canon Missioner and Sub-Dean of Leicester Cathedral, will be Acting Dean from 17 December. Canon Rooms is also City Centre Transition Priest with responsibility for St Nicholas’s, in the Holy Spirit Team Ministry, and Women’s Enabler in the diocese of Leicester.

 

ASHWORTH. The Revd Nigel Ashworth, Rector of St Ann’s, Manchester, and Hon. Canon of Manchester Cathedral, to be Canon Pastor of Manchester Cathedral (Manchester).

BATES. The Revd Carol Bates, Assistant Curate of St Michael the Archangel, East Wickham, to be Priest-in-Charge of All Saints’, Sanderstead (Southwark).
