TELEVISION: Saturday 9pm (BBC1) Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance The King attends the annual event at the Royal Albert Hall.

Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise To mark Remembrance Sunday, the Revd Kate Bottley meets Christians in the armed forces.

10.30pm (ITV) Children of Ukraine Shahida Tulaganova charts the war in Ukraine through the eyes of the children living through it.

Monday 10.45pm (ITV) The Crossing A film that pieces together details of the Channel crossing, one year ago, in which at least 31 people died after their dinghy capsized.

RADIO: Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship On the highest peak in Northern Ireland, Canon Simon Doogan and Fr Martin Magill consider the theme of reconciliation.

12.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul The stories of Hindus who travel to Varanasi to die by the Ganges.

3pm (Radio 3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from The Queen’s College, Oxford.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2.15pm (R4) The 5000 Sebastian Baczkiewicz’s dramatisation of the biblical story of the feeding of the 5000 (1-3/3).

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong Live from Westminster Abbey.
