Wanted: stories about climate fight for the Green Church Showcase

by
09 July 2021

The closing date for entries is 21 July

THE deadline for your climate-change-fighting stories for the Green Church Showcase is fast approaching: 21 July. For a chance to be a beacon to other churches and organisations — who would like to help save the planet, but don’t know how — please send in your applications. The online form is simple and straightforward.

We would like to reflect the spread of church initiatives in our final selection, to be featured in a video and booklet timed to coincide with the COP26 climate conference in November. Thank you to all who have submitted an application already. Having looked at them, we would also like to hear from more people who have accomplished environmental savings in new building work or by adapting existing buildings.

Also, no initiative is too small: we would like to hear from people who have made great changes on a shoestring. And more stories of community action would be welcome, too.
