Green Church Showcase

by
03 November 2021

FACED by the challenge of the climate crisis, it is tempting to despair. But encouragement can be taken from the churches and Christian bodies that are already active in this area — some for a significant amount of time. They have been cutting their carbon footprint and protecting the environment.

The Church of England’s environment programme and the Church Times are showcasing some of these projects to offer inspiration. We heard from more than 150 groups and churches. Any of them could have featured here, but the seven examples have been chosen to illustrate the variety of approaches taken.

Read about them here, and listen to talks at the event on the Church Times Podcast.

The Green Church Showcase is joint project from the Church of England's Environment Programme and the Church Times.
