Canon of Guildford Cathedral (1980-89); Suffragan Bishop of Brixworth (1989-2001); Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (1989-2001); Hon. Assistant Bishop in Bath & Wells diocese since 2001; aged 85.

DAVIES. — On 25 February, the Ven. Lorys Martin Davies: Assistant Chaplain of Brentwood School (1962-66); Chaplain of Solihull School (1966-68); Vicar of Moseley (1968-81); Hon. Canon of Birmingham Cathedral (1981); Canon Residentiary (1981-92); Birmingham Diocesan Director of Ordinands (1982-92); Archdeacon of Bolton (1992-2001); Bishop of Manchester’s Adviser for Hospital Chaplains (1992-2001); Manchester Diocesan Warden of Readers (1994-2001); aged 84.

EATON. — On 23 February, the Revd Barry Anthony Eaton: Deputy Chaplain of HM Prison Leeds (1999-2000); Chaplain of HM Prison Buckley Hall (2000-07); HM Prison Styal (2007-10); HM Prison Preston since 2010; aged 70.

FARMER. — On 1 March, the Revd Dr Lorelie Joy Farmer: Assistant Curate of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Luddington and Clifford Chambers (2003-05); Warmington with Shotteswell and Radway with Ratley (2005-06); Hon. Assistant Curate of Witchampton, Stanbridge and Long Crichel with Moor Crichel (2008-10); Wimborne Minster (2012-13); aged 77.

GURNEY. — On 18 February, the Revd Ann Gurney: Deaconess of St John’s, Southend, Lewisham (1954-56); Warden of Berridge House College of Education (1956-59); Principal of Gilmore House (1959-70); Bishop of London’s Adviser for Lay Ministry (1970-87); Hon. Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Eltham (1994-2017); aged 93.

LINDSAY. — On 24 January, the Revd Eric Graham Lindsay: Assistant Curate of St George’s, Grenada (1960-61); Priest-in-Charge of St Dunstan’s Local Ecumenical Partnership, Stepney (1984-85); Assistant Curate of St Dunstan and All Saints’, Stepney (1984-85); Rector of St Fillan’s, Kilmacolm (1985-98); St Mary’s, Bridge of Weir (1985-98); aged 90.
