BURBRIDGE. — On 22 November, the Very Revd John Paul Burbridge: Vicar Choral and Chamberlain of York Minster (1962-66); Canon Succentor and Prebendary (1966-76); Precentor (1969-76); Residentiary Canon of Ripon Cathedral (1976-83); Archdeacon of Richmond (1976-83); Dean of Norwich (1983-95); aged 89.

BURROWS. — On 21 November, the Revd Samuel Reginald Burrows: Assistant Curate of Heworth, in charge of St Andrew’s (1962-67); Priest-in-Charge of St Andrew’s Conventional District, Leam Lane (1967-73); St Mary the Virgin with St Peter’s Conventional District, Bishopwearmouth (1973-77); Rector of Bewcastle with Stapleton (1977-82); Harrington (1982-90); Priest-in-Charge of Millom (1990); Vicar (1990-95); aged 91.

DAVIES. — On 12 November, the Revd David Michael Cole Davies: Rector of Dinas with Llanllawer (1972-77); Vicar of Tycroes with Saron (1977-79); Llanedi with Tycroes and Saron (1980-90); Rural Dean of Dyffryn Aman (1985-90); Vicar of Dafen and Llwynhendy (1990-94); Dafen (1994-2008); aged 77.

DRAYTON. — On 29 November, the Revd James Edward Drayton: Assistant Curate of Bollington (1988-92); Priest-in-Charge of St Peter’s, Aston (1992-96); Little Leigh and Lower Whitley (1992-96); Antrobus (1992-96); aged 91.

TINKER. — On 23 November, the Revd Melvin Tinker: Chaplain of Keele University (1985-90); Vicar of All Hallows’, Cheadle (1990-94); St John’s, Newland (1994-2020); left the C of E; aged 66.

TYSON. — On 17 November, the Revd William Edward Porter Tyson: Vicar of St Peter’s, Macclesfield (1957-62); Over Tabley (1962-70); Perpetual Curate of High Legh (1962-70); Chaplain to the Combined Forces (Territorial Army) (1964-67); Combined Forces (Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve) (1967-91); Vicar of Church Hulme (Holmes Chapel) (1970-91); Chaplain of Cranage Hall Hospital (1970-91); Hon.
