Dean to retire

THE Dean of Norwich since 2014, the Very Revd Jane Hedges, is to retire next May, when she will be 67. There will be a farewell service on Sunday 1 May, after which the Dean will move to Northumberland with her husband, Chris. Dean Hedges was a deaconess before her ordination, and was the first woman residentiary canon in the Church of England, at Portsmouth Cathedral.
