Harold Ian Lyle Russell: Vicar of Chapeltown (1967-75); Rural Dean of Tankersley (1973-75); Vicar of St Jude’s, Mapperley, Nottingham (1975-89); Area Dean of Nottingham Central (1986-89); Hon. Canon of Southwell Cathedral (1988-89); Archdeacon of Coventry (1989-2000); Chaplain to the Queen (1997-2004); aged 86.

SALMON. — On 4 August, the Revd Anthony James Heygate Salmon: Assistant Curate of St Mark’s, South Norwood (1956-59); Usuthu, South Africa (1959-61); Rector of Gingindhlovu, South Africa (1961-69); Chaplain of the College of the Ascension, Selly Oak (1969-74); Rector of Harrietsham (1974-85); Curate-in-Charge of Frinsted (1974-78); Priest-in-Charge of Ulcombe (1981-85); Vicar of Chobham with Valley End (1985-95); aged 90.

SCOTT. — On 8 August, the Revd Andrew Charles Graham Scott: Royal Navy Chaplain (1964-68); Assistant Curate of Prenton (1968-71); Vicar of Tow Law (1971-81); Rural Dean of Stanhope (1977-81); Vicar of Bampton with Clanfield (1981-95); aged 93.
