Dean of Bradford

THE Revd Paul Maybury, Canon Residentiary of Bradford Cathedral, in Leeds diocese, since 2016, has been appointed Acting Dean of Bradford from 31 July, after the retirement of the Very Revd Jerry Lepine (Gazette, 5 March).

The Revd Philip Gray, formerly Vicar of St Margaret’s, Ilkley, and Area Dean of South Craven and Wharfedale, and an Honorary Canon of Ho Cathedral, Ghana, will become Canon Precentor on a half-time basis during the vacancy.

 

BARKER. The Revd Captain Robert Barker CA, Priest-in-Charge of Kirby Misperton with Normanby and Salton and of Middleton, Newton and Sinnington (York), to be Vicar of both.

BENNETT. The Revd Milen Bennett, Assistant Curate of All Saints’, Forest Gate (Chelmsford), to be Associate Priest.

CAWRSE. The Revd Christopher Cawrse, Vicar of Holy Cross, St Jude and St Peter, St Pancras, now also Chaplain of Goodenough College, London (London).

CHRISTIAN. The Revd Alison Christian, formerly Adviser and Advocate for Spiritual Direction of the London Centre for Spiritual Direction, to be NS Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Harrow on the Hill (London).

CLOVER. The Revd Brendan Clover, Senior Provost of Woodard Schools, now Interim Minister of St John the Evangelist, Clevedon (Bath & Wells).

GODDEN. The Revd Peter Godden, Vicar of Clay Hill (London), to be Team Vicar in the Risborough Team Ministry (Oxford).

HAYWARD. The Revd Dr Marianne Hayward, NS Assistant Curate of St Nicholas’s, Elm Park, Hornchurch, now NS Assistant Curate of St Andrew’s, St George’s and St Matthew’s, Hornchurch (Chelmsford).

KENNEDY. The Revd Christopher Kennedy, Assistant Curate of St Richard of Chichester, Hanworth, now Leader of Activate Sports and Wellbeing Ministry (Bishop’s Mission Order) (London).

MILLS. The Revd Dr Ian Mills, Assistant Curate of Larne and Inver, Glynn with Raloo (Connor), now Priest-in-Charge of Chew Stoke with Nempnett Thrubwell and of Winford with Felton Common Hill (Bath & Wells).

OMOLE. The Revd Oluremi Omole, Chaplain of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, now Lead Chaplain, remaining Bishop’s Enabler for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Hon. Canon of Durham Cathedral (Durham).

PRIOR. The Revd Rachel Prior, Assistant Curate in the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry, to be Rector of Black Notley, Great Notley and Rayne (Chelmsford).

PRITCHARD. The Revd Dr Jonathan Pritchard, Team Vicar in the Keighley Team Ministry (Leeds), to be Team Rector in the Witham and Villages Team Ministry (Chelmsford).

ROPER. The Revd David Roper, formerly Rector of the Poppyland Benefice, and Hon. Priest-Vicar of Norwich Cathedral (Norwich), now Interim Chaplain of St Paul’s, Monte Carlo, Monaco (Europe).

SAUM. The Revd Rachel Saum, formerly Assistant Curate of Chesterton, of Lighthorne and of Newbold Pacey with Moreton Morrell (Coventry), to be Priest-in-Charge of Newnham with Awre and Blakeney (Gloucester).

SMITH. The Revd Andrew Smith, Priest-in-Charge of Hutton, to be Rector, remaining Area Dean of Brentwood (Chelmsford).

STANDEN. The Revd Dr David Standen, formerly Chaplain of King Edward’s School, Witley, to be Chaplain of HM Prison and Young Offenders Institute Doncaster (Sheffield).

TOWNS. The Revd Paul Towns, Assistant Curate of Ab Kettleby and Holwell with Asfordby, to be Minister of the proposed Harby Conventional District, also ministering in Old Dalby, Nether Broughton, Long Clawson, Hose and Stathern (Leicester).

TUCKETT. The Revd Katherine Tuckett, Vicar of North Harrow (London), to be Vicar of Wolvercote and Wytham (Oxford).

WOODROW. The Revd Mark Woodrow, Rector of the Stour Valley Benefice, now also Assistant Rural Dean of Clare (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).
