HARDY. — On 9 April, the Rt Revd Robert Maynard Hardy: Fellow, Chap­­lain, and Lecturer in Theology of Selwyn College, Cambridge (1965-72); Vicar of Borehamwood (1972-75); Director of St Albans Ministerial Training Scheme (1975-80); Curate-in-Charge of Aspley Guise (1975-80); Husborne Crawley (1976-80); Rector of Aspley Guise with Husborne Crawley and Ridg­­mont (1980); Suffragan Bishop of Maidstone (1980-87); Bishop to HM Prisons (1985-2001); Bishop of Lincoln (1987-2001); Hon. Assistant Bishop in Carlisle diocese since 2001; aged 84.

MANN. — On 31 March, the Revd Nicola Antoinette Mann: Priest-in-Charge of the Raddesley Group (2017-20); Bishop of Ely’s Adviser for BAME Matters since 2018; Rec­tor of the Raddesley Group since 2020; aged 50.

MELLOWS. — On 1 April, the Revd Alan Frank Mellows: Vicar of Brims­­combe (1954-62); Rector of Mileham (1962-74); Curate-in-Charge of Stan­­field (1962-74); Beeston-next-Mileham (1962-66); Rector (1966-74); Priest-in-Charge of Great with Little Dunham (1970-73); Rector of Ashill (1974); Priest-in-Charge of Saham Toney (1978-79); Rector of Ashill with Saham Toney (1979-88); Hon. Canon of Norwich Cathedral (1982-88); aged 97.

MURPHY. — On 9 April, the Revd Owen Murphy: Priest-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Shinfield (1998-2005); Vicar of St Martin’s, Barnehurst (2005-07); Director of St Columba’s House Retreat and Conference Centre, Woking (2007-12); Priest-in-Charge of Yealmp­ton and Brixton (2013-19); Team Vicar in the Withycombe Raleigh Team Ministry since 2019; aged 68.
