Oakham archdeaconry

THE new Archdeacon of Oakham, in Peterborough diocese, is to be the Revd Alison Booker, Vicar of the Coplow Benefice since 2013, Area Dean of Launde since 2017, and Hon. Canon of Leicester Cathedral since 2018. Canon Booker was ordained priest in 2009 and has served all her ministry in Leicester diocese. She served as the diocese’s Warden of Pastoral Assistants from 2014 to 2017. She will be collated on 6 February 2022.

 

BARNES. The Revd Elizabeth Barnes, formerly Vicar of Great Oakley, Wix, Wrabness, Tendring and Beaumont-cum-Moze, and Area Dean of Harwich, to be NS Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) in the Thurstable and Winstree Team Ministry (Chelmsford).

BEAUMONT. The Revd Christopher Beaumont, Assistant Curate in the Emmaus Parish Team (Leicester), to be Interim Priest-in-Charge of Blandford Forum and Langton Long (Salisbury).

BOLD. The Revd Dr Peter Bold, Team Rector in the Dronfield with Holmesfield Team Ministry, to be part-time Priest-in-Charge of Ash­over and Brackenfield with Wessing­ton, and Assistant Curate (Minister Responsible) for Handley in the North Wingfield Team Ministry (Derby).

BREWSTER. The Revd Jonathan Brewster, Canon Treasurer of St Paul’s Cathedral (London), now Interim Mission Community Leader of the Cartmel Peninsula Mission Community and in the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry (Carlisle).

BUCKLER. The Revd Jennifer Buckler, Assistant Curate of Widcombe, Bath (Bath & Wells), now Interim Priest-in-Charge of Norton juxta Malton (York) (diocesan correction).

CHILLMAN. The Revd David Chillman, Interim Priest-in-Charge of St Philip’s, Cedar, Nanaimo (British Columbia, Anglican Church of Canada), to be house-for-duty Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of the West Purbeck Benefice (Salisbury).

DARKINS. The Revd Catherine Darkins, Assistant Curate of Herne, to be also LGBT+ Chaplain (Canterbury).

HARTLEY. The Revd Denis Hartley, formerly Assistant Curate of All Saints’, Margate, to be LGBT+ Chaplain (Canterbury).

ISIORHO. The Revd Dr David Isiorho, Priest-in-Charge of Ashley, Mucklestone, Broughton and Croxton (Lichfield), to be Rector.

JOYCE. The Revd Joanna Joyce, Assistant Curate of Stockingford, to be Vicar of Eastern Green (Coventry).

MAYCOCK. The Revd Jane Maycock, formerly Diocesan Director of Ordinands, now Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) in the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry (Carlisle).

PELHAM. The Revd Thomas Pelham, Assistant Curate of Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks (Salisbury), to be Rector of Burwash, Burwash Weald and Etchingham (Chichester).

ROBERTS. The Revd Gregory Roberts, Vicar of All Saints’, Peterborough (Peterborough), now Rector of Ford, Great Wollaston and Alberbury with Cardeston (Hereford).

ROBINSON. The Revd Eric Robinson, formerly Priest-in-Charge of Erpingham with Calthorpe, Ingworth, Aldborough, Thurgarton and Alby with Thwaite (Norwich), now Interim Priest-in-Charge of Arthuret with Kirkandrews-on-Esk and Nicholforest (Carlisle).

SELLIN. The Revd Jacqueline Sellin, formerly NS Assistant Curate of St Michael the Archangel, Southampton (Winchester), to be Assistant Chaplain of St Andrew’s, Zurich, Switzerland (Europe).

SMITH. The Revd Jonathan Smith, Assistant Curate of Bilton, to be Priest-in-Charge of Bishop’s Tachbrook (Coventry).

WALKER. The Revd David Walker, NS Assistant Curate in the Dronfield with Holmesfield Team Ministry, to be NS Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Eckington and Ridgeway (Derby).

WILCOX. The Revd Heather Wilcox, Team Rector in the Long Stratton and Pilgrim Team Ministry (Norwich), to be Priest-in-Charge of West Bergholt and Great Horkesley, of Langham with Boxted, and of Wormingford, Mount Bures and Little Horkesley (Chelmsford).

WILLIAMS. The Revd Louise Williams, Rector of South Shoebury, and Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathedral, now also Area Dean of Southend-on-Sea (Chelmsford).

WORTLEY. The Revd Lyn Wortley, formerly Hon. Canon of Sheffield Cathedral (Sheffield), now Canon Emeritus.

WRIGHT. The Revd Patricia Wright, formerly Hon. Assistant Curate of St George-in-the-East (London), to be LGBT+ Chaplain (Canterbury).
