ALEXANDER. — On 2 June, the Revd James Douglas Alexander: Vicar of Alvingham with North and South Cockerington (1961-65); Keddington (1961-65); Chaplain to the Forces (RAF) (1962-64); Rector of Gunhouse with Burringham (1965-69); St Peter’s, Peterhead (1969-76); St Mary’s, Aberdeen (1976-95); Canon of St Andrew’s Cathedral, Aberdeen, since 1979; Missions to Seamen (Mission to Seafarers since 200) Chaplain, Aberdeen (1978-2006); HM Prison Aberdeen (1982-2006); Priest-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Cove Bay (1985-90); aged 94.

BINSLEY. — On 24 May, the Revd Michael Binsley: OLM of Yoxall (2009-18); Kings Bromley, the Ridwares and Yoxall (2018-19); aged 77.

CLARKE. — On 3 June, the Revd Audrey May Clarke: Full-time Deaconess of Crofton Park (1975-79); Chaplain’s Assistant at the Middlesex Hospital, London (1980-84); Full-time Deaconess of Mottingham (1984-87); Parish Deacon (1987-89); Assistant Curate of Westborough (1989-95); Hon. Assistant Curate of New with Old Romney and Midley (1995-98); St Mary’s Bay with St Mary-in-the-Marsh and Ivychurch (1995-98); aged 86.

McFARLAND. — On 1 June, the Revd Alan Malcolm McFarland: NSM of Holy Trinity, Westbury-on-Trym, and Bristol School of Ministry (1985-88); Lechlade (1989-93); later in Salisbury and London dioceses; aged 97.

MATTHEWS. — On 10 May, the Revd Brian Matthews: Assistant Curate of Whitwick (1965-69); Priest-in-Charge of Bardon Hill (1971-78); Vicar of St Andrew’s, Whitwick, with Thringstone (1978-97); aged 88.

REED. — On 14 April, the Revd Richard David Reed: NS Assistant Curate of Dale and St Brides with Marloes (1991-96); Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Blisland with St Breward (1996-99); aged 88.

REES. — On 30 May, the Revd Richard John Edward William Rees: Vicar of Whitchurch with Solva and St Elvis (1967-77); Rural Dean of Dewisland and Fishguard (1973-2001); Vicar of Whitchurch with Solva and St Elvis with Brawdy and Llandeloy (1977-2001); Canon of St Davids Cathedral (1987-2001); Treasurer (1997-2001); aged 85.
