Associate archdeacons

THE Revd Ian Parkinson, Leadership Specialist for the Church Pastoral Aid Society, is to be Associate Archdeacon of Sheffield and Rotherham. He was ordained priest in 1984, and served in York diocese before becoming Vicar of Marple, in Chester diocese, in 2001. He served there until 2015 and was also appointed an Hon. Canon of Chester Cathedral.

The Revd Julie Upton, Team Rector in the Sheffield Manor Team Ministry, since 2012, and Joint Area Dean of Attercliffe, since 2018, is to be Associate Archdeacon of Doncaster. She will remain an Hon. Canon of Sheffield Cathedral. She was ordained priest in 1994 and has served in Ripon & Leeds, Southwark, St Edmundsbury & Ipswich, and Bradford dioceses.


ALBERT. The Revd Madeleine Albert, formerly Assistant Curate (Mission Minister) of Wilden, with Colmworth and Ravensden (St Albans), now Interim Priest-in-Charge of Littleport (Ely).
