This is a marvellous opportunity for a man or woman to immerse themselves deeply into the church, community, and civic life of this thriving, quirky and historic county town. The three churches of the benefice can offer their new rector a strong supporting team of clergy and lay people, committed worshipping communities, well-maintained historic church buildings and a history of local engagement.
We long to grow God’s Kingdom in our growing town and six villages, situated between Chelmsford and Colchester.
We are five parishes with six churches in the beautiful area of South Shropshire, an area of outstanding natural beauty, but this is no backwater. We seek a prayerful, energetic person to walk with us, leading our church community in setting and holding its vision for mission and growth.
