Archdeacon in London

THE new Archdeacon of Char­ing Cross, in London diocese, is the Revd Adam Atkinson, Two Cities Area Director of Mission Development, in that diocese, since last year. Mr Atkinson was ordained priest in 2008, and has served all his ministry in Lon­don diocese. He succeeds the Ven. Rosemary Lain-Priestley, who is now an adviser on policy and strategy to the Bishop of London (Gazette, 25 January 2019).

 

ARNOLD. The Revd Philip Arnold, Vicar of Calverley, to be Vicar of Upper Armley (Leeds).

BLAIR. The Revd John Blair, formerly Chaplain of Holy Trinity, Madeira (Europe), now Team Vicar in the Langtree Team Ministry (Ox­­ford).

COOK. The Revd Nicholas Cook, Chaplain to the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, now also Chaplain of RAF Northolt (Royal Air Force).

EWINS. The Revd Tiffany Ewins, Hon. Priest-in-Charge of St Michael’s, Wandsworth Common, Bat­tersea, now Vicar (Southwark).

HARRIS. The Revd James Harris, formerly Assistant Chaplain in Athens, Greece (Europe), now Rector of Long Ashton with Barrow Gurney and Flax Bourton (Bath & Wells).

REDFERN. The Rt Revd Dr Alastair Redfern, Hon. Assistant Bishop (Salisbury), now also Hon. Assistant Bishop (Bath & Wells).

REVELEY. The Revd James Reveley, Vicar of St Andrew’s, Bedford (St Albans), to be Canon Residentiary of Ely Cathedral (Ely).

SCOTT. The Revd Julie Scott, Assistant Curate in the Wellington and District Team Ministry, now Assistant Curate of St John the Baptist, Bridgwater (Bath & Wells).

SHER. The Revd Falak Sher, Rector of St Werburgh’s, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, and Priest-in-Charge of Hulme, to be Assistant Curate (Pi­­on­eer Associate Priest) of Lower Broughton, and Assistant Curate of St Paul with Christ Church, Salford, remaining Hon. Canon of Man­­chester Cathedral (Manchester).

WELLS. The Revd Kirsty Wells, Assistant Curate of Sturminster Newton, Hinton St Mary and Lydlinch (Salisbury), now Team Chap­lain of Musgrove Park Hos­pital, in the Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust (Bath & Wells).

WRIGHT. The Revd Kevin Wright, Priest-in-Charge of the Three Saints Benefice (Bath & Wells), now Rector.
