Church of Guild Musicians awards

The Guild of Church Musicians has made the following awards, which it hopes to present in June 2021.

Licentiate of the Guild: Daniel Chambers (Head of Music at Kingham Hill School, Chipping Norton, and Chapel Music Tutor and Organist of St Hugh’s College, Oxford).

Hon. Fellowship of the Guild: Daniel Moult (Head of Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a trustee of and examiner for the Royal College of Organists, recording artist and film presenter); Dr Andrew Padmore (freelance conductor, former Organist and Master of the Choristers at Cork and Belfast Cathedrals).

Hon. Membership of the Guild: Bruce Quentin Somerville-Fownes Buchanan (former director of the British Institute of Organ Builders, and of J. W. Walker and Sons).

The Guild now has a new administrator, Dr Elizabeth Stratford, Organist and Master of the Choristers at Arundel Cathedral. The former registrar, June Williams, is now a vice-president.
