Dean of Argyll & The Isles

THE next Dean of Argyll & The Isles is to be the Very Revd Margaret Campbell, Provost of St John’s Cathedral, Oban, and Rector of St James’s, Ardbrecknish, in the same diocese, since 2018. Provost Campbell was ordained priest in 2003, and served her ministry in Bath & Wells diocese before moving to Argyll & The Isles in 2018. She will retain her current posts.


AULD. The Very Revd Jeremy Auld, Provost of St Paul’s Cathedral, Dundee (Brechin), now Rector of Woodstock and Bladon, and Area Dean of Woodstock (Oxford).

BAKER. The Revd Miles Baker, Rector of Allesley (Coventry), to be Kensington Area Director of Ministry (London).

BARKER. The Revd Adele Barker, Assistant Curate of St Philip and St James, Chatham, to be Priest-in-Charge of Fawkham and Hartley, and of Longfield (Rochester) (diocesan correction).

BELL. The Revd Evelyn Bell, formerly Chaplain of HM Prison Highpoint, to be Rector of Bansfield (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

BRADY. The Revd Ian Brady, Rector of Doddington with Benwick and Wimblington, and Priest-in-Charge of Christchurch and Manea and Welney, now Team Rector in the Six Fen Churches Team Ministry (Ely).
