NEXT week sees the second Festival of Preaching in Oxford, hosted by the Dean of Christ Church, the Very Revd Dr Martyn Percy.

This year’s festival is again organised by the Church Times and its publishing partner Canterbury Press. Among the speakers are Anna Carter Florence, Brian McLaren, Kate Bruce, and Rachel Mann.

The festival is sold out, as it was in 2017; but two of the lectures are being streamed live via the Church Times Facebook page: Paula Gooder at 11.45 on Monday morning, 9 September; and Mark Oakley at 10 on Tuesday morning. Also, this week’s episode of the Church Times Podcast features an interview with Ally Barrett on preaching at an all-age service.

A limited number of USB sticks containing all the talks will be on sale after the festival; and individual talks will be available shortly on the Church Times YouTube channel.
