ELLIOTT. — On 17 November, the Revd Dr William James Elliott: Curate-in-Charge of St Paul’s, Preston (1969-73); Chaplain of Preston Royal Infirmary (1969-74); Rector of Elstree (1974-2000); Research Fellow of Birmingham University (2000-03); aged 81.

MAYBURY. — On 23 November, the Revd Doreen Lorna Maybury: Deaconess of St John the Evangelist, Jedburgh (1981-84); Warden and Counsellor of Whitchester Christian Centre, Duns (1984-91); NS Deaconess of Christ Church, Duns (1984-91); St Cuthbert’s, Hawick (1991-97); Counsellor and Supervisor of Whitchester Christian Centre, Hawick (1991-2013); NSM of St Cuthbert’s, Hawick (1995-97); Chaplain of Borders General NHS Trust (1998-2004); aged 86.

MORDECAI. — On 20 November, the Revd Elizabeth Mordecai: Deaconess of All Saints’, Leamington Priors (1986-87); Hon. Parish Deacon (1987-89); Assistant Curate of Worcester City (1989-94); aged 91.

WOODSFORD. — On 15 November, the Revd Andrew Norman Woodsford: Curate-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Ladybrook, Mansfield (1970-73); Barton-in-Fabis (1973-80); Thrumpton (1973-80); Rector of Gamston with Eaton and West Drayton (1981-88); Chaplain of Bramcot School, Nottinghamshire (1981-93); Southwell & Nottingham Diocesan Warden of Readers (1988-2008); Hon. Canon of Southwell Minster (1993-2008); Rural Dean of Retford (1993-2000); aged 76.
