Nottingham post

THE next Archdeacon of Nottingham is to be the Revd Philip Williams, Diocesan Associate Archdeacon for Transition Ministry, since 2017, and an Hon. Canon of Southwell Cathedral since 2011. Before his current appointments, he was Vicar of St James’s, Porchester, from 2002 to 2017, and Area Dean of Gedling, from 2005 to 2017. He was ordained priest in 1991 and, since his initial curacy in Sheffield diocese, has served all his ministry in Southwell & Nottingham diocese.

 

AXON. The Revd Andrew Axon, Priest-in-Charge of Lamberhurst and Matfield, to be also Rural Dean of Paddock Wood (Rochester).

BARLOW. The Revd Edward Barlow, Assistant Curate of Bedford Park (London), to be Team Vicar in the Bexley Team Ministry (Rochester).

BARNES. The Revd David Barnes, Rector of the North Kernow Benefice and Priest-in-Charge of Kilkhampton and Morwenstow, now Priest-in-Charge of Bude Haven, Marhamchurch, Poundstock, Week St Mary and Whitstone in the Stratton Conventional District, remaining Rural Dean of Stratton (Truro).

BUBBERS. The Revd Richard Bubbers, Priest-in-Charge of Alvechurch, to be Vicar, remaining Workplace Chaplain (Worcester).

CAMERON. The Revd Laura Cameron, formerly Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity with St Columba, Fareham, now Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Portsdown and of Purbrook (Portsmouth).

CURRAM. The Revd Deborah Curram, NS Assistant Curate of Rodborough and of Woodchester and Brimscombe (Gloucester), to be part-time Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Eastoke, Hayling Island (Portsmouth).

EDWARDS. The Revd Dr Owen Edwards, Assistant Curate of St Mary the Virgin, Prestwich, to be Assistant Curate of Kersal Moor (Manchester).

FARMER. The Revd Robert Farmer, Team Rector in the Worcester South East Team Ministry (Worcester), to be Vicar.

FLITCROFT. The Revd Jonathan Flitcroft, Assistant Curate of Four Oaks (Birmingham), to be Rector of Stourbridge, Old Swinford (Worcester).

FORD. The Revd David Ford, Rector of Northleach with Hampnett and Farmington, Cold Aston with Notgrove and Turkdean, and Compton Abdale with Haselton (Gloucester), to be Team Rector in the Bromsgrove Team Ministry (Worcester).

GOODMAN. The Revd Penelope Goodman, Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) of Easton, Colton, Marlingford and Bawburgh, to be Hon. Assistant Priest, and Chaplain to the Diocesan Staff (Norwich).

NORMAN. The Revd Andrew Norman, Assistant Curate in the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry, to be Priest-in-Charge of Arnside and of Beetham (Carlisle).

ORTON. The Revd Peter Orton, Priest-in-Charge (Sacramental Pioneer Priest) of All Saints’, Pin Green, Stevenage (St Albans), to be Vicar.

THOMSON. The Revd Caitlin Thomson, Assistant Curate of West Bessacarr, now Assistant Curate of Broomhill, Sheffield (Sheffield).
