Archdeacon of Bristol 

THE next Archdeacon of Bristol is to be the Revd Neil Warwick, Vicar of St Nicolas’s, Earley, in Oxford diocese, since 2009. He was ordained priest in 2006 and served his title in Peterborough diocese. Before ordination, he ran his own business-research company, and worked for the logistics company British Road Services, and for World Vision, during which time he completed an MBA. He has also been a consultant for strategy at Lambeth Palace. He is married to Helen and has two grown-up children.

THE next Archdeacon of Exeter is to be Canon Andrew Beane, Team Rector in the Aylsham and District Team Ministry, since 2017, and Rural Dean of Ingworth and Sparham, since 2018, in Norwich diocese. He was ordained priest in 2003 and has served all his ministry in Norfolk. Before ordination, he worked in the electricity industry. He is married with a family.

The next Archdeacon of Plymouth is to be Prebendary Nicholas Shutt, the Acting Archdeacon. He has been the Rector of Yelverton, Meavy, Sheepstor, Walkhampton, Sampford Spiney and Horrabridge since 2016, and a Prebendary of Exeter Cathedral since 2011. He was ordained priest in 1995 and has served all his ministry in Exeter diocese. Before ordination, he was a solicitor. He is married, has two children, and three grandchildren, and is a keen photographer and a biker.

 

Move to Truro

THE next Archdeacon of Cornwall is to be the Ven. Paul Bryer, Archdeacon of Dorking in Guildford diocese since 2014. In this post, he has led initiatives to support the health and well-being of clergy. He was ordained priest in 1991, and served his title in Rochester diocese, before moving to Guildford diocese in 1994.
