COPLAND. — On 16 November, the Revd Carole Jean Copland: York Diocesan Adviser for Children’s Work (1981-90); Parish Deacon of Dunnington (1990-94); York Diocesan Faith in the City Link Officer (1990-96); Assistant Curate of Dunnington (1994-96); Vicar of Ledsham with Fairburn (1996-99); aged 81.

GITTINGS. — On 6 November, the Revd Graham Gittings: Assistant Curate of St Luke and St Peter and St Paul, Dagenham (1983-89); Vicar of Earl Shilton with Elmesthorpe (1989-2011); aged 72.

HARDY. — On 16 November, the Revd Brian Albert Hardy: Chaplain of Downing College, Cambridge (1962-66); Curate-in-Charge of Livingston Mission, Edinburgh (1966-74); Telford Area Church Planning Officer (1974-78); Prebendary of Hereford Cathedral (1974-78); Rural Dean of Telford Severn Gorge (1975-78); Chaplain of Edinburgh Theological College (1978-82); Chaplain of Edinburgh Royal Infirmary (1982-86); Rector of St Columba’s, Edinburgh (1982-91); Dean of Edinburgh (1986-91); Rector of All Saints’, St Andrews (1991-96); Hon.
