BATTMAN. — On 11 January, the Revd John Brian Battman: Missionary with South American Missionary Society (SAMS) in Asunción, Argentina (1964-69); Paraguay (1969-76); Archdeacon of Paraguay (1970-76); Extension Secretary to SAMS (1977-80); Vicar of the Good Shepherd, Collier Row, Romford (1980-92); Vicar of Werrington (1992-2002); aged 82.

BREWER. — On 9 February, the Revd Christina Anne Brewer, Assistant Curate of Crofton (2011-15); Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of the Canonry Benefice since 2015; aged 67.

HUGHES. — On 15 February, the Revd Steven Philip Hughes: Team Vicar in the Kings Norton Team Ministry (1986-91); Assistant Chaplain of the Resurrection, Bucharest (1996-98); Priest-in-Charge (1998-2001); Belgrade with Skopje (1998-2000); St Michael’s, Hoole (2002-09); Inter-faith Development Officer for Churches Together in Lancashire (2009-12); Priest-in-Charge of Otham with Langley (2012-16); Area Dean of North Downs (2014-15 and 2016-18); Team Vicar in the North Downs Team Ministry (2016-18); aged 66.

LEGG. — On 28 January, the Revd Peter Ellis Legg, NSM (Associate Priest) of Radipole and Melcombe Regis since 2005; aged 67.

NEAL. — On 8 February, the Revd Christopher Charles Neal: Assistant Curate of St Paul’s, Camberley, in charge of St Mary’s (1976-83); Team Vicar in the Camberley Team Ministry (1983-86); Vicar of Thame with Towersey (1986-98); Team Rector in the Thame Team Ministry (1998-2003); Hon. Canon of Christ Church, Oxford (1998-2003); Director of International Mission and Community for the Church Mission Society (2003-12); aged 71.

WILLIAMSON. — On 12 February, the Revd Anthony William Williamson: Hon. Assistant Curate of Cowley (1960-79); Team Vicar in the Cowley Team Ministry (1979-89); Oxford Diocesan Director of Education (1989-2000); Hon. Canon of Christ Church, Oxford (1994-2000); aged 85.

YOUNG. — On 9 February, the Revd Dr David Young: Vicar of Stainland (1971-76); Rector of Patrington with Winestead (1976-80); Chaplain of Winestead Hospital (1976-80); St John’s Hospital, Lincoln (1980-90); The Lawn Hospital, Lincoln (1981-85); North Lincolnshire Mental Health Unit (1990-93); Lincoln District Healthcare NHS Trust (1993-97 and 1998-2004); aged 87.
