New archdeacon

THE Revd Barry Dugmore, currently Exeter Diocesan Mission Enabler, is to be the Archdeacon of Warwick, known as the Archdeacon Missioner, in the diocese of Coventry.


Anglican Communion Office

THE Revd Dr William Adam, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Ecumenical Adviser, and Ecumenical Officer at the Council for Christian Unity, is now also Director of Unity, Faith and Order for the Anglican Communion.

He has overall staff responsibility for the ecumenical dialogues in which the worldwide Anglican Communion is engaged, and is secretary of the Inter-Anglican Standing Commission on Unity, Faith and Order.

He has succeeded Canon John Gibaut, who is now President, Provost, and Vice-Chancellor of Thornloe University, Canada.


ADAMSON. The Revd Ruth Adamson, NS Assistant Curate of Aylmerton, Runton, Beeston Regis and Gresham, to be Interim Priest-in-Charge (Norwich).

BAILEY. The Revd Brendan Bailey, formerly Rector of Nettlebed with Bix, Highmoor, Pishill and Rotherfield Greys, and Priest-in-Charge of Nuffield, now Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of St Mary the Virgin, Purley (Oxford).

BROWN. The Revd David Brown, NSM (Assistant Priest) of St John the Baptist, Newport (Portsmouth), now Assistant Curate of Warfield (Oxford).

BROWN. The Revd Jennifer Brown, NS Assistant Curate of The Churn, now NS Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Abingdon-on-Thames (Oxford), and remaining Director of the Cuddesdon School of Theology and Ministry and Tutor of Ripon College, Cuddesdon.

CRONIN. The Revd Janie Cronin, Assistant Curate of St Saviour’s, Guildford (Guildford), now Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Brompton, with St Paul’s, Onslow Square, and St Augustine’s, South Kensington (London).

FALLA. The Revd Eric Falla, NS Assistant Curate of Whitton and Thurleston and Akenham, now NS Assistant Curate of East Bergholt and Brantham (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

HULME. The Revd Alan Hulme, Director of the Parish Development and Evangelism Team (Guildford), to be Vicar of Rugby West (Coventry).

LAUTENBACH. The Revd Wayne Lautenbach, Priest-in-Charge in the Hermitage Team Ministry, now Rector (Oxford).

PEARSON. The Revd Christopher Pearson, Chaplain to Retired Clergy and Clergy Widows and Widowers in the Greater Northampton, Wellingborough, and Brixworth deaneries, to be Assistant Priest in the Emmanuel Team Ministry, Northampton (Peterborough).

PORTER-BABBAGE. The Revd Michelle Porter-Babbage, formerly Assistant Curate of Boughton on the Water with Clapton and the Rissingtons (Gloucester), now Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Warfield (Oxford).

SAMADI. The Revd Jonathan Samadi, Assistant Curate of St Philip’s, Northdown Park, Margate (Canterbury), to be Vicar of St Mary and St Peter, Staines (London).

SAUNDERS. The Revd Joan Saunders, formerly Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Great Casterton and Little Casterton with Pickworth and Tickencote, and Oakham Archdeaconry Self-Supporting Ministry Officer, now Interim Priest-in-Charge of Ryhall, with Essendine and Carlby (Peterborough).

SEGGAR. The Revd Jennifer Seggar, Priest-in-Charge of St Mary the Virgin, Bramford, Little Blakenham, Baylham and Nettlestead, and Spiritual Director of Cursillo, to be Rector of Holbrook, Stutton, Freston, Woolverstone and Wherstead (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

SIMPSON-GRAY. The Revd Rickey Simpson-Gray, NS Assistant Curate in the Hemel Hempstead Team Ministry (St Albans), now Team Vicar in the Claydons and Swan Team Ministry (Oxford).

WELLS. The Revd Philip Wells, Vicar of Holy Trinity, Lamorbey, and Area Dean of Sidcup (Rochester), now Vicar of Wantage (Oxford).

WILLIAMS. The Revd Nicholas Williams, Vicar of East Malling and Teston, to be also Priest-in-Charge of Larkfield (Rochester).

WOLTON. The Revd Adrian Wolton, Chaplain of Ripley St Thomas C of E­­ Academy, to be Vicar of Christ Church with All Saints, Blackpool (Blackburn).

WORSSAM. The Revd Richard Worssam, Vicar of Otford, to be Vicar of Pembury (Rochester).
