Archdeacon of Cardigan

The Ven. Dr William Strange, who has been Archdeacon of Cardigan, in St Davids diocese, since 2009, retires at the end of May. He was ordained priest in 1983, and was a Tutor at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, before moving to St Davids diocese in 1987. He has also been Vicar of Pencarreg and Llanycrwys, since 2009.

 

ASHTON. The Revd Grant Ashton, Vicar of Euxton: 2 June, remaining temporary Assistant Archdeacon of Blackburn, and Hon. Canon of Blackburn Cathedral (Blackburn).

DICK. The Revd Raymond Dick, Rector of The Boldons, and Hon. Canon of Durham Cathedral (Durham): 24 April.

ELCOCK. The Revd Jonathan Elcock, Rector of St John’s, Failsworth (Manchester): 30 April.

FOX. The Revd Michael Fox, Chaplain to the Bishop of Stockport, remaining Priest-in-Charge of St Paul’s, Macclesfield (Chester).

HALL. The Revd Andrew Hall, Asistant Curate (Associate Priest) of St Mary with St Matthew and St Luke, Cheltenham (Gloucester).

HAPGOOD-STRICKLAND. The Revd Peter Hapgood-Strickland, Priest-in-Charge of St Mark’s, Burnley: 30 April, remaining Vicar of St Andrew with St Margaret and St James, Burnley, and Hon. Canon of Blackburn Cathedral (Blackburn).

HAYDEN. The Revd David Hayden, Priest-in-Charge of Oulton Broad and of Oulton (Norwich): 21 April.

HILL. The Revd Richard Hill, Chaplain of St Mary Magdalene and Holy Jesus Trust, Newcastle, Hon. Canon of Newcastle Cathedral, and Assistant Diocesan Ecumenical Officer (Newcastle): 22 April.

MARSHALL. The Revd Simon Marshall, Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Woodford Wells (Chelmsford): 30 April.

MOCKFORD. The Revd Peter Mockford, Vicar of Blurton and Dresden, Stafford Episcopal Area Co-ordinator for Deliverance, and Prebendary of Lichfield Cathedral (Lichfield): 31 May.

NICHOLLS. The Revd Joan Nicholls, OLM in the Seven Saints Team Ministry: 31 May, remaining Chaplain of the Bolton NHS Foundation Trust (Manchester).

SAINSBURY. The Revd Peter Sainsbury, Vicar of Summerfield (Birmingham).
