BADDELEY. — On 28 June, the Ven. Martin James Baddeley: Lecturer of Lincoln Theological College (1965-66); Tutor (1966-69); Chaplain (1968-69); Chaplain of Fitzwilliam College and New Hall, Cambridge (1969-74); Canon Residentiary of Rochester Cathedral (1974-1980); Hon. Canon (1980-96); Principal of the Southwark Ordination Course (1980-94); Co-Principal of the South East Institute for Theological Education (1994-96); Archdeacon of Reigate (1996-00); aged 81.

BRINDLEY. — On 22 June, the Revd Stuart Geoffrey Noel Brindley: Assistant Curate of Killingworth, in charge of St Paul’s, Dudley (1960-63); Vicar of St Bede’s, Newsham (1963-69); Chaplain of Windsor Boys’ School, Hamm, West Germany (1969-76); Assistant Master of Wyvern School, Weston-super-Mare (1976-80); Vicar of Stocksbridge (1980-88); Rural Dean of Tankersley (1985-88); Vicar of All Saints’, Rotherham (1988-96); Hon. Canon of Sheffield Cathedral (1995-96); aged 87.

HARRIS. — On 22 June, the Revd Kenneth Harris: NS Assistant Curate of Eccleston and Pulford (1977-80); Priest-in-Charge of Hargrave (1980-81); Vicar (1981-94); Executive Officer of the Chester Diocesan Board of Social Responsibility (1984-94); Hon. Canon of Chester Cathedral (1991-94); Priest-in-Charge of Ashton Hayes (1996-98); Hon. Priest-in-Charge (1998-99); aged 89.
