New provost

THE next Provost of St John the Divine Cathedral, Oban, and Rector of St James’s, Ardbrecknish, in Argyll & The Isles diocese, is to be the Revd Margaret Campbell, Rector of Backwell with Chelvey and Brockley, in Bath & Wells diocese, since 2011, and Rural Dean of Portishead since 2017. Before her present appointments, she had held posts in that diocese since 2002.

 

BLAINE. The Revd Alastair Blaine, Royal Navy Chaplain, now Chaplain to Fleet HM Unit (Royal Naval Chaplaincy Service).

CLARK-MAYERS. The Revd Derek Clark-Mayers, OLM Assistant Curate of Wickham Bishops with Little Braxted, and of Hatfield Peverel with Ulting (Chelmsford), to be NS Associate Priest of both.

DICKINSON. The Revd Anthony Dickinson, Vicar of Terriers, Chaplain of Buckinghamshire New University, and Hon. Canon of Christ Church, Oxford (Oxford), now Associate Chaplain of All Saints’ Milan, with special responsibility for the Holy Ghost, Genoa (Europe).

ELLIS. The Revd Jenny Ellis, NS Assistant Curate of West Wycombe with Bledlow Ridge, Bradenham and Radnage (Oxford), now NS Associate Minister.

FAULL. The Revd Janet Faull, Vicar of Tuffley, and Area Dean of Gloucester City, to be also Hon. Canon of Gloucester Cathedral (Gloucester).

GILBERT. The Revd Howard Gilbert, Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Cirencester, and Area Dean of Cirencester, to be also Hon. Canon of Gloucester Cathedral (Gloucester).

GOVENDER. The Very Revd Rogers Govender, Dean of Manchester Cathedral, to be also Borough Dean of Manchester (Manchester).

HUDSON. The Revd Rachel Hudson, Assistant Curate of Morpeth, to be Assistant Curate in the Cramlington Team Ministry (Newcastle).

HUTCHINS. The Revd Paul Hutchins, Priest-in-Charge of St Luke’s, Southport (Liverpool), to be Rector of the Holy Family, Failsworth (Manchester), remaining Canon Commissary of Wiawso, Ghana (Wiawso, West Africa).

LEVERTON. The Revd Michael Leverton, Rector of Ardeley, Benington, Cottered with Throcking and Walkern, to be also Rural Dean of Buntingford (St Albans).

LONGDEN. The Revd Dr Lee Longden, Vice-Principal of the All Saints Centre for Mission and Ministry, to be Rector of St Paul’s, Kersal Moor (Manchester), remaining Extraordinary Senior Lecturer of North-West University, South Africa.

McCULLOCH. The Revd Alistair McCulloch, Lead Chaplain of Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Trust (London), to be also Bishop’s Adviser for Hospital Chaplaincy (Southwark).

McMAIN. The Revd Sheena McMain, Assistant Curate, in the Rothwell, Lofthouse, Methley with Mickletown and Oulton with Woodlesford Team Ministry to be Vicar of Barnoldswick and Bracewell (Leeds).

MARTIN. The Revd Roger Martin, Canon Emeritus of Canterbury Cathedral, to be also Acting Area Dean of Elham (Canterbury).

NIECHCIAL. The Revd Stephen Niechcial, Assistant Curate of St John’s, Sidcup, to be Vicar of Petts Wood (Rochester).

PIMENTA. The Revd Valmor Pimenta Assistant Curate of St Martin’s, Bedford (St Albans), to be Vicar.

SANDERCOCK-PICKLES. The Revd Deborah Sandercock-Pickles, Vicar of St Margaret with St George, Prestwich, to be also Area Dean of Radcliffe and Prestwich (Manchester).

SCOTT. The Revd Katrina Scott, Rector of the Guitings, Cutsdean, Farmcote, Upper and Lower Slaughter with Eyford and Naunton, and Area Dean of North Cotswold, to be also Hon. Canon of Gloucester Cathedral (Gloucester).

STARLING. The Revd Deborah Starling, NS Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) in the Melton Mowbray Team Ministry, now also Diocesan Disability Awareness Adviser (Leicester).

UPCHURCH. The Revd Sarah Upchurch, NSM of the Ascension, Haywards Heath, now Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of St Nicholas’s, Worth, Pound Hill and Maidenbower (Chichester) (diocesan correction).

THOMAS. The Revd Stefan Thomas, Priest-in-Charge of Barham Downs, now also Area Dean (Canterbury).

THOMAS. The Rt Revd Roderick Thomas, Suffragan Bishop of Maidstone (Canterbury), and Hon. Assistant Bishop (Birmingham, Bristol, Chelmsford, Chester, Ely, Lichfield, London, Norwich, Sheffield and Southwark), now also Hon. Assistant Bishop (Oxford).

WALKER. The Revd Paul Walker Rector of Wortley and Farnley, to be Vicar of Drighlington and Gildersome (Leeds).

WARD. The Revd Nathan Ward, NS Assistant Curate in the South Chatham Team Ministry, to be Vicar of Rainham (Rochester).

WHEELHOUSE. The Revd Paul Wheelhouse, Assistant Curate of St Margaret’s, Ilkley, to be Vicar of St John’s, Bierley (Leeds).

WRIGHT. The Revd Sarah Wright, Chaplain of University Hospitals of Leicester, and Leicester Partnership NHS Trusts, to be also house-for-duty Assistant Curate of the Burrough Hill Parishes, and of the South Croxton Group (Leicester).

YOUNG. The Revd Richard Young, formerly NSM of Brunswick, to be half-time Rector of Birch with Fallowfield (Manchester).
