Ebola outbreak suspected in the Democratic Republic of Congo

A health worker is sprayed with chlorine after visiting the isolation ward at Bikoro hospital, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where patients who are suspected of having the Ebola virus are being treated, this month. The Anglican Alliance said that it would “stand ready” to work with churches across the DRC to fight the Ebola virus. The World Health Organization has expressed concern over increasing cases of the virus in the DRC, but said “we now have better tools than ever before to combat Ebola”
