BACHELL. — On 12 May, the Revd Kenneth George Bachell: Minister of St Michael and All Angels Ecclesiastical District, Andover (1960-64); Vicar (1964-68); St Alban’s, Southampton (1968-76); Warden of Manchester Diocesan Conference House and Assistant Curate of Crawshawbooth (1976-79); Vicar of Holdenhurst with Throop (1979-83); Vicar of Froyle and Holybourne (1983-87); aged 96.

BURDEN. — On 16 May, the Revd Michael Henry Burden: Chaplain of St Peter’s Junior School, York (1965-70); Assistant Master of Beverley Grammar School (1970-74); Rector of Walkington (1974-77); Head of Community Studies at Leo Schultze High School, Hull (1977-82); Chaplaincy Assistant of Berwick Royal Infirmary (1982-94); Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity, Berwick (1982-87); Vicar (1987-89); Priest-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Berwick (1982-87); Vicar of Holy Trinity and St Mary, Berwick (1989-94); Priest-in-Charge of Skirwith, Ousby and Melmerby with Kirkland (1994-98); Secretary of the Guild of St Raphael (1994-98); aged 82.
