Anglican Baptismal Liturgies edited by Philip Tovey

PHILIP TOVEY has edited Anglican Baptismal Liturgies, a collection of rites from more than 40 countries, including England (but not 1662) and Wales (1984 and 2006). Each is introduced, and an overall introduction covers Anglican baptismal liturgy and theology 1948-2016, and the provincial liturgies. Common Worship, it says, is the most complex in terms of alternatives and material additional to text and rubrics (Canterbury Press, £60 (£54); 978-1-78622-020-2).
