The Bible for Everyone by Tom Wright

by
24 August 2018

SPCK describes The Bible for Everyone (£25 (CT Bookshop special offer price £20); 978-0-281-07401-3) as a “thoroughly revised, improved, and streamlined” edition of the Bible translation that appears in the For Everyone commentaries by Tom Wright (New Testament) and John Goldingay (Old Testament). The translators have added a new introduction to each book of the Bible, and this hardback has black-and-white maps and glossaries.

Also from SPCK, adding to its Prayer Experiment series, comes The Prayer Experiment Notebook by Miranda Threlfall-Holmes and Mina Munns, with activities aimed at helping eight- to 12-year-olds to explore prayer, using Lego and bubble wrap, among other ideas (£7.99 (£7.20); 978-0-281-07847-9).
