Alan’s reminiscences of the General Synod were no match for Peppa Pig
The Bishop of Manchester is seeking to appoint a full time Head of Church Growth
(Under the alternative episcopal sacramental and pastoral care of The Bishop of Ebbsfleet)
New and exciting role for experienced priest to build up deanery team based around Launceston town and surrounding villages.
We would welcome a Team Rector who, with our two team vicars, will join us in our hopes and vision for the future of our six churches. As Rector you will have special responsibility for two churches, All Saints and St Godwald’s, and will enjoy the support of the whole team, including Readers and retired clergy. The post comes with an attractive modern vicarage near to St Godwald’s Church.
The successful candidate will enhance the worship and ministry of a church community known in the area for a high standard of traditional music, with four-part choral singing currently at most services. We are in the process of developing the diversity of the music at St Martin’s, so the director will also be involved in the exciting programme of exploring contemporary/informal music styles and repertoire.
