Canon of Chester Cathedral (1988-96); Vicar of Higher Bebington (1990-96); aged 81.

HEINZE. — On 3 March 2017, the Revd Dr Rudolph William Heinze: NSM of St Peter’s, London Colney (1986-98); Lecturer of Oak Hill Theological College (1986-98); Senior Tutor (1988-94); Vice-Principal (1994-97); Visiting Scholar since 1999; Hon. Canon of Port Sudan since 1994; aged 85.

LEA. — On 26 February, the Revd Richard John Rutland Lea: Vicar of Larkfield (1971-86); Priest-in-Charge of Leybourne (1976-86); Rural Dean of Malling (1979-84); Vicar of St Stephen’s, Chatham (1986-88); Canon Residentiary and Precentor of Rochester Cathedral (1988-98); Vicar of Iffley (1998-2006); aged 77.

LONG. — On 18 February, the Revd Dr Edward Percy Eades (Bill) Long: Assistant Curate of Sedbergh, Cautley and Garsdale (1973-84); aged 103.

MANN. — On 16 December, the Revd Donald Leonard Mann: Vicar of Guilden Morden (1956-59); Rocester (1959-63); Gnosall with Knightley (1963-69); Sheen (1969-76); Curate-in-Charge of Calton (1972-76); Ellastone (1976-77); aged 95.

SURTEES. — On 9 February, the Revd Brian Lawrence Surtees: NSM of Hatfield Heath and Sheering (2001-05); Tye Green with Nettleswell (2005-08); Chipping Ongar with Shelley (2008-13); Harlow Town Centre with Little Parndon since 2013; aged 63.

WIGHTMAN. — On 1 January, the Revd David William Lyle Wightman: NSM in the Macclesfield Team Ministry since 2008; aged 73.
