The Canaanite woman in Matthew 15.21-28 features in one of a series of six engravings (1600s) by Jan Saenredam (after Hendrick Goltzius) of biblical women featured, with the Roman matron Lucretia, among 23 works from Ringling Museum of Art in Dangerous Women by Mary D. Garrard and Kimberly L. Dennis (Scala, £16.50 (£14.85); 978-1-78551-119-6), the book of an exhibition at the Frost Art Museum, Miami (till 27 May), and the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Rollins College (8 September to 30 December), both in Florida, USA
