You will have primary oversight of one of our newly paired churches, in partnership with existing ministers
St Mary’s and its daughter church, St John the Evangelist, are looking for a warm and inspirational communicator who will guide us and help us grow. To achieve this we recognise the need for openness to new and different ways of worship, alongside a commitment to those who prefer traditional liturgy – a challenging but exciting task.
We are a God-centred, spirit-filled, forward-thinking parish, located on the south west edge of Bishop’s Stortford, who seeks an enthusiastic and gifted minister to lead, teach and inspire us. We want to grow and reach out to our community, making the best use of the incredible gifts we have been blessed with at St James.
Applications are invited for this important role as the Chaplain is a key pastoral figure in the school in promoting Christian values and leading the spiritual development of pupils and staff in line with the Queen Mary’s School ethos. The Chaplaincy spans the entire age range and includes the wider school community.
