Archdeacons retire

THE Ven. Robert Griffiths, Archdeacon of Wrexham, in St Asaph diocese, since 2014, and Priest-in-Charge of Valle Crucis Mission Area, in that diocese, will retire on 31 July. Before his present appointments, he had held posts in the diocese since 1976.

The Ven. Peter Pike, Archdeacon of Montgomery and Vicar of Berriew, now in Pool Mission Area, in St Asaph diocese, since 2012, will retire on 30 September. Before his present appointments, he had held posts in Blackburn and York dioceses.

 

BASTIDE. The Revd Derek Bastide, Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Hamsey, and Principal Lecturer of Brighton University (Chichester).

CAVIESES ARAYA. The Revd Dr Guillermo Cavieses Araya, Assistant Curate of St Giles with St Mary, Pontefract (Leeds).

FALKINGHAM. The Revd Caroline Falkingham, Rector of The Fountains Group (Leeds): 30 April.

FAULKNER. The Revd Iain Faulkner, Interim Priest-in-Charge of South Wimbledon (Southwark).

GILLESPIE. The Revd Michael Gillespie, NSM of the Four Saints benefice (Leicester): 31 January.

GREENWOOD. The Revd Claire Greenwood, Hon. Assistant Curate of Barnoldswick with Bracewell (Leeds): 28 February.

HAYES. The Revd Rosemarie Hayes, Area Dean of Whitkirk, remaining Team Rector in the Allerton Bywater, Kippax and Swillington Team Ministry, and Hon. Canon of Ripon Cathedral (Leeds).

HEMMING. The Revd Terry Hemming, house-for-duty Assistant Priest of Hurstbourne Priors, Longparish, St Mary Bourne and Woodcott (Winchester): 10 February.

HENDERSON. The Revd William Henderson, Vicar of Outwood, Stanley, and Wrenthorpe (Leeds): 31 March.

JONES. The Revd Joyce Jones, Area Dean of Kirkburton: 1 March, remaining Rector of Cumberworth, Denby, Denby Dale and Shepley, and Hon. Canon of Wakefield Cathedral (Leeds).

KAYE-BESLEY. The Revd Lesley Kaye-Besley, NS Assistant Curate of East Molesey (Guildford).

KING. The Revd Peter King, NS Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) in the Mortlake with East Sheen Team Ministry (Southwark): 13 February.

MacDONALD. The Revd Martin MacDonald, Area Dean of Calder Valley, remaining Hon. Assistant Curate of Erringden, and of Luddenden with Luddenden Foot (Leeds).

MARSHALL. The Revd Rodney Marshall, Vicar of Athersley and Carlton, and Hon. Canon of Wakefield Cathedral (Leeds).

MICKLETHWAITE. The Revd Andrew Micklethwaite, Vicar of Castle Donington and Lockington cum Hemington (Leicester): 1 February.
