BEAK. — On 13 January, the Rt Revd Robert Michael Cawthorn Beak: Bible Churchmen’s Missionary Society Missionary in diocese of Upper Nile (1956-58); diocese of Nakuru (1958-69); Officiating Chaplain to the Military (1970-80); Rector of Heanton Punchardon (1970-77); Heanton Punchardon with Marwood (1977-84); Rural Dean of Barnstaple (1977-81); Prenbendary of Exeter Cathedral (1982-84); Assistant Bishop of Mount Kenya East (1984-89); Hon. Assistant Bishop of Derby since 1991; aged 92.

BOYCE. — On 14 January, the Revd John Frederick Boyce: Assistant Curate of Farnborough (1963-66); Vicar of Sutton-at-Hone (1966-73); Priest-in-Charge of Chiddingstone (1973-74); Rector of Chiddingstone with Chiddingstone Causeway (1974-84); Vicar of Brenchley (1984-98); aged 84.

HARVEY. — On 9 January, the Revd Dr Anthony Ernest Harvey: Research Student of Christ Church, Oxford (1962-69); Warden of St Augustine’s College, Canterbury (1969-75); Lecturer in Theology in the University of Oxford University (1976-82); Fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford (1976- 82); Chaplain of the Queen’s College, Oxford (1977-82); Canon and Librarian of Westminster Abbey (1982-99); Sub-Dean and Archdeacon of Westminster (1987-99); aged 87.

MANN. — On 3 January, the Revd Gillian Mary Mann: Priest-in-Charge of the Sampfords and Radwinter with Hempstead (2005-13); aged 71.

ROWE. — On 27 December, the Revd John Goring Rowe: Assistant Curate of Trumpington (1951-53); Hon. Assistant Curate of Bow Common (1953-84); aged 94.

SCOTT. — On 2 January, the Revd Gordon Scott: Vicar of Marley Hill (1959-62); Chaplain of the Forest School, Snaresbrook (1962-66); Dunrobin School, Sutherland (1966-72); Pocklington School, York (1972-74); Vicar of Barton with Pooley Bridge (1974-80); Rural Dean of Penrith (1978-82); Priest-in-Charge of Lazonby (1980); Rector of Great Salkeld with Lazonby (1980-90); Hon.
