New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Sunderland, in Durham diocese, is to be the Revd Robert Cooper, Vicar of St Giles with St Mary and All Saints, Pontefract, in Leeds (formerly Wakefield) diocese, since 2005, Rural/Area Dean of Pontefract since 2006, and Hon. Canon of Wakefield Cathedral since 2008. He will remain an Hon. Canon of Mara Cathedral, Mara diocese, Tanzania.

 

Archdeacon moves on

THE Ven. William Stuart-White, Archdeacon of Cornwall, in Truro diocese, since 2012, is to be Priest-in-Charge of All Saints’, Falmouth, in that diocese, and Team Leader of Transforming Mission in Falmouth.
