Archdeacon of Rochester

THE next Archdeacon of Rochester is to be the Revd Andrew Wooding Jones, formerly the Director of the World Prayer Centre in Birmingham, from 2012 to 2014, during which time he lived as part of the Lee Abbey Small Missional Community in Aston, and assisted at Aston Parish Church and with the diocese’s Transforming Church programme. Before that, he was Resident Director of Ashburnham Place, from 2000 to 2012. Since moving to Rochester diocese, he has helped to establish St Benedict’s Centre at Malling Abbey and been Interim Co-ordinator of IME2 and CMD. He is married to Margaret, a pastoral worker, and they have two grown-up children. He will take up his new post in September.

ADU-BOACHIE. The Revd Francis Adu-Boachie, Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Wembley, to be Team Rector in the Edgware Team Ministry, remaining Prebendary of St Paul’s Cathedral (London).

AYLETT. The Revd Barbara Aylett, OLM in the Harlow Town Centre with Little Parndon Team Ministry (Chelmsford), to be Associate Priest.

BARRETT. The Revd Dr Alastair Barrett, Rector of Hodge Hill, now also Co-Area Dean of Coleshill (Birmingham).

BARTON. The Revd Dr Andrew Barton, Priest-in-Charge of All Saints’, Headley (Guildford), to be Rector.

BLAKELY. The Revd Mark Blakeley, Assistant Curate in the Becontree South Team Ministry, to be Chaplain to the Bishop of Chelmsford (Chelmsford).

BOULTER. The Revd Paul Boulter, Assistant Curate of Christ Church, Bedford (St Albans), to be Vicar of Caton with Littledale, and of Over Kellet (Blackburn).

BRIDGEWATER. The Revd Guy Bridgewater, Team Rector in the Horsham Team Ministry, and Rural Dean of Horsham (Chichester), to be Rector of Bath Abbey (Bath & Wells).

BRIGGS. The Revd William Briggs, Assistant Curate of St Nicolas’s, Newbury, and St Mary’s, Speenhamland (Oxford), to be Interim Vicar of the Vine Benefice, Sheffield (Sheffield).

BROWN. The Revd Phillip Brown, Team Vicar in the South Wye Team Ministry, now Priest-in-Charge of Burghill (Hereford).
