Canterbury Cathedral exhibition opens for the centenary of the Armistice

Boat of Remembrance, one of ten installations by glass artists Philip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg, in Canterbury Cathedral. It is part of an exhibition, “Under an Equal Sky”, which reflects on themes of war and remembrance in the centenary of the Armistice. Boat of Remembrance consists of 100 glass amphorae suspended from the nave ceiling in the shape of a 20-metre boat. The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs until 11 November
