Archdeacon retires

THE Ven. Stuart Beake, Arch­deacon of Surrey, in Guildford diocese, since 2005, and War­den of the Community of St Peter, Woking, since 2008, will retire on 19 September. He will remain Canon Residentiary of Guildford Ca­­thedral. Before 2005, he had been Canon Residentiary and Sub-Dean of Coventry Cathed­ral since 2000.

 

APPS-HUGGINS. The Revd Lor­raine Apps-Huggins, Vicar of the Downs­­foot Benefice, comprising Badles­­mere with Leaveland, Selling, and Sheld­wich (Canterbury): 9 October.

GILES. The Revd Anthony Giles, Rector of High Wych and Gilston with Eastwick, and Rural Dean of Bishop’s Stortford (St Albans): 17 September.

LOWE. The Revd Heather Lowe, Assistant Curate of Harrington, and of Distington (Carlisle): 10 Sep­tember.

MARSHALL. The Revd Margaret Marshall, Rector of the Riversmeet Benefice (St Albans): 13 July.

RICKETTS. The Revd Linda Ricketts, Vicar of St Mary Magda­lene’s, Gorleston (Norwich): 30 Sep­tember.

SELBY. The Revd Carole Selby, Team Vicar in the Cheshunt Team Ministry, with special responsibility for Goffs Oak, Diocesan Chaplain to the Deaf, and Hon. Canon of St Albans Cathedral (St Albans): 1 August.
