New archdeacon

 

THE next Archdeacon of Chel­ten­­ham, in Gloucester diocese, is to be the Revd Philip Andrew, Vicar of St Mary’s, Reigate, in Southwark diocese, since 2006, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral since 2016. Before his present ap­­point­­ments, he had served his title in Oxford diocese.

ATKINSON. The Revd Dr Philip Atkinson, Assistant Curate of St Aldate’s, Oxford, and Managing Director of St Aldate’s Community Transformation Initiatives (Oxford), now Assistant Curate (Assoc­iate Minister) of St Peter’s, Cov­entry, with exclusive respon­sib­ility for developing the City Centre Resourcing Church of St Mark’s, Swanswell (Coventry).

BERRETT. The Revd Michael Berrett, Hon. Assistant Curate (As­­soc­iate Priest) of Wantage (Ox­­ford), to be Priest-in-Charge of Stoken­­ham with Sherford and Beesands (Exeter).

BETSON. The Revd Laura Betson, formerly Assistant Curate of Aston Cum Aughton with Swallownest and Ulley (Sheffield), to be Team Vicar in the Kidderminster West Team Ministry (Worcester).

BLYTH. The Revd Andrew Blyth, Vicar of Holy Trinity, Walton, Area Dean of Aylesbury, and Hon. Canon of Christ Church, Oxford (Oxford), to be Team Rector in the Holy Trinity and St Paul Team Ministry, Cheltenham (Gloucester).
