New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Lough­borough, in Leicester diocese, is to be the Revd Claire Wood, Rector of Olney, in Ox­­ford diocese, since 2009, and Area Dean of Newport, in that diocese, since 2015. Before these posts, she had held a curacy in the diocese since 2006.

 

BUCHANAN. The Revd Thomas Buchanan, NS Assistant Curate of St Margaret Lothbury and St Stephen Coleman Street with St Christopher-le-Stocks, St Bartholomew-by-the-Exchange, St Olave Old Jewry, St Martin Pomeroy, St Mildred Poultry and St Mary Colechurch, London City (London), to be NS Assistant Curate (Associate Curate) of St Philip with St Stephen, Cambridge (Ely).

CHARD. The Revd Julia Chard, formerly OLM of Soundwell, now NS Assistant Curate (Associate Local Minister) of Fromeside (Bristol).

CONWAY. The Revd Robert Conway, OLM of Filton, now NS Assistant Curate (Associate Local Minister) of Fromeside, remaining Chaplain of the North Bristol NHS Trust (Bristol).

COULTER. The Revd Maria Coulter, Vicar of St Clement with St Peter, Dulwich (Southwark), now Assistant Chaplain of Oundle School (Peterborough).

DEMPSTER. The Revd Adrian Dempster, Assistant Curate (Asso­ciate Priest) of Skegby with Teversal, to be Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Selston with West­wood (Southwell & Nottingham).

MACPHERSON. The Revd Aian Macpherson, Assistant Curate of Drypool, to be Team Vicar in the Marfleet Team Ministry, with special responsibility for St Philip’s, Bilton Grange (York).

NORTH. The Revd Mark North, Vicar of Burnham, and Area Dean of Maldon and Dengie, to be also Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathed­ral (Chelmsford).

RABLEN. The Revd Christine Rablen, Vicar of St Mary with St Edward and St Luke, Leyton, and Area Dean of Waltham Forest, to be Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathed­ral (Chelmsford).

STRANGE. The Revd Malcolm Strange, NS Assistant Curate (As­­sociate Minister) of Fromeside, now Priest-in-Charge (Bristol).

WILLIAMS. The Revd Louise Williams, Rector of South Shoebury, and Assistant Area Dean of South­end, to be also Hon. Canon of Chelms­­ford Cathedral (Chelmsford).

YOUNG. The Revd Diana Young, Assistant Curate of St John’s, Hamp­stead (London), to be Vicar of Wo­­burn Sands (St Albans).

 

SCOTLAND

JEPP. The Revd Mary Jepp, Rector of North Leightonstone (Ely), to be Rector of Holy Trin­ity, Kil­marnock (Glasgow & Gallo­way) (correction).

 

LAY APPOINTMENTS

PEPINSTER. Catherine Pepinster, formerly Editor of The Tablet, to be UK Development Officer of the Anglican Centre in Rome (Europe).
