COLLINS. — On 19 January, the Revd Stella Vivian Collins: Deaconess of Harnham (1977-87); Diocesan Lay Ministry Adviser (1982-97); Adviser for Women’s Ministry (1982-97); Hon. Parish Deacon of Harnham (1987-88); Wilton with Netherhampton and Fugglestone (1988-94); Rural Dean of Wylye and Wilton (1989-94); Hon. Assistant Curate of Wilton with Netherhampton and Fugglestone (1994-97); Canon and Prebendary of Salisbury Cathedral, (1993-97); aged 84.

DAVIES. — On 24 December, the Revd Rendle Leslie Davies: Vicar of Llangwm Uchaf (1958-63); Usk with Monkswood, Glascoed and Gwehelog (1963-99); Chaplain of HM Borstal Institution Usk (1963-81); HM Prison Usk and Prescoed (1981-94); aged 87.

GEORGE. — On 16 January, the Revd Robert Henry George: OLM of South Cerney with Cerney Wick and Down Ampney (2001-05); NSM of Brimpsfield with Birdlip, Syde, Daglingworth, the Duntisbournes, Winstone, Miserden and Edgeworth (2005-16) ; aged 71.

HARPER. — On 13 January, the Revd Maurice Harper: Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, Great Ilford (1967-71); Rector of Upminster (1971-85); Rural Dean of Havering (1980-85); Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathedral (1984-85); Canon Emeritus since 1985; aged 96.

NEW. — On 9 January, the Revd Derek New: NSM of St Anne’s, Brondesbury, with Holy Trinity, Kilburn (1986-98); St Matthew’s, Willesden (1999-2002); aged 86.

NORTHRIDGE. — On 31 December, the Revd Herbert Aubrey Hamilton Northridge: Curate-in-Charge of Convoy (1945-47); Rector (1947-50); Rector of Derg (1950-71); Derg with Termonamongan (1971-81); Canon of Derry Cathedral (1972-81); aged 100.

SHORTHOUSE. — On 11 January, the Revd Dr Raymond Trevor Shorthouse: Priest-in-Charge of Cressage with Sheinton (1975-79); Harley (1975-79); Denby (1979-84); Derby Diocesan Adult Education Officer (1979-85); Rural Dean of Heanor (1983-84); Vicar of Chellaston (1984-88); Priest-in-Charge of Breadsall (1988-98); Denby Diocesan Director of Studies (1988-96); Hon.
